Maybe it’s just my natural disposition intertwined with my ADHD and I need to be moving to be happy, maybe it’s that I am a life long flat-lander and anytime there is a an opportunity to see some new terrain I’m already one foot out the door, but I’ll go ahead simplify my infatuation with mountains and chalk it up to the fact that they’re beautiful and really fun to photograph. Haillye and Corey had asked me to come up to one of their first date locales, Rickets Glenn State Park, in Northern PA. So I jumped at the opportunity and took a day trip up to the park. It did not disappoint. We found waterfalls and lakes, cliffs, paddle-boats and good light. We walked, laughed, got bit by a few mosquitos and paddled like hell against the wind driven current on the lake. It was a blast. I’ll just go ahead and make the proclamation, more day trips to far away lands are in my future.
